Emergency at midnight or a booked changeover on Thursday, it is the same licensed crew, the same written quote first, and a lifetime workmanship warranty over all of it.
Burst pipes, split flexi hoses and sewage backing up. We make it safe first and quote after, because nobody should be agreeing to a price standing in water. On call 24 hours.
Emergency call-outsGas, electric, heat pump and solar. We check the age and test the parts before recommending anything, because a unit that is not old is usually a repair, not a replacement.
Hot water repairsCooktops, heaters and gas lines connected, tested and certified. The Certificate of Compliance is legally required, it proves the work was done under licence, and it is free.
Licensed gas fittingHidden leaks traced with acoustic and pressure equipment, then written up. If a leak has inflated your bill, we give you findings you can put to Sydney Water.
Burst pipes & leak repairsToilets, vanities and tapware supplied and fitted in one visit, at a price agreed in writing before we start rather than worked out at the end.
Book a fit-offBlocked or slow drain? We clear it and hand you the camera footage, so what we found is something you can see and keep rather than something you have to take our word for. Start with our guide to what to try on a blocked toilet.
Drain clearingMost plumbing sites will not print a number anywhere. These are 2026 Sydney entry figures, published so you can hold any quote against them, including ours. That is the overview: what it costs to get a van to you and what the trade charges by the hour. Job-by-job figures are on each service page, in writing there too.
Nothing when the job is booked through this site. Arranged another way, a normal Sydney attendance fee sits near the top of that range.
The daytime Sydney rate, and what most quotes are quietly built from. We do not price this way, for the reason under these cards.
What the trade adds after hours, on weekends and on public holidays. We do not add it. The job price is agreed before the van leaves.
A burst made safe, a drain cleared, a gas fault isolated. One written figure rather than a clock nobody can check.
Written down and agreed before anything starts. If what we find changes the work, the new figure goes back to you for approval first.
Two of these are the market's numbers rather than ours, and they are here on purpose. An hourly rate tells you nothing about what your job will cost, which makes it very hard to compare two quotes honestly. We price the whole job instead. Pricing the job rather than the hour is also what makes two quotes comparable. You can hold our written number against anybody else's and see plainly which is better. Where you already know what you need, the real figures live on the blocked drains, pipe relining, burst pipes and leaks, hot water and gas fitting pages.
Anyone can call themselves a plumber. A licensed one carries a NSW licence number, real insurance, and the legal accountability that comes with both, so when a gas job is certified or a repair signed off, it actually means something.
Every plumber here holds NSW Licence 368473C and full insurance, and you can check that number yourself on the Fair Trading register. All work is to the Australian Standards with a written lifetime workmanship warranty.

Nobody should agree to thousands of dollars of work standing in a doorway. Get it in writing, check the licence number, and take as long as you want to decide. Meet the crew behind every Fairfield callout.

Fairfield is one of the most diverse communities in Australia. More than 60% of residents were born overseas, 79.4% of households speak a language other than English at home, and over 120 languages are spoken across the city. A plumbing quote is a contract, and here it is often being agreed in a second or third language with water on the floor. So we write everything down. From the Fairfield River flats to the ridgelines of Wetherill Park and St Johns Park, a licensed local plumber is only minutes away, same-day and 24/7 for genuine emergencies.

We will make it safe first and talk about money afterwards. Nobody should be agreeing to a price with water coming through the ceiling.

Still have a question?
The Sydney range is $100 to $150 an hour, and an hourly figure is almost impossible to compare between quotes because nobody can tell you how many hours it will be. We price the whole job in writing before starting, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
On a genuine emergency we aim to be with you inside the hour across Fairfield and south-western Sydney, at any hour and on any day of the year.
Any attendance or after-hours charge is said clearly on the phone before we set off, and it appears on the written quote. Nothing is ever added to the invoice afterwards. Booked through this site, attendance costs nothing.
NSW Licence 368473C. Search it on the NSW Fair Trading register and it will come back in under a minute. Unlicensed plumbing is illegal here and voids your home insurance, so it is a fair thing to ask of anyone. Ours is printed on every quote before you agree to it.
Sydney's water is soft, so scale is rarely what ends a unit here. Usually it is a sacrificial anode that has been used up or a failed element, and on a unit that is not old both of those are parts worth fitting rather than a reason to replace the whole tank.
Ask for the number and check it. Every licensed plumber in NSW has one, ours is 368473C, and NSW Fair Trading has a public register you can search in about a minute. It matters for more than quality: plumbing done by an unlicensed person is illegal in this state and it will void a home insurance claim if that work later causes damage. Any plumber who will not give you their number, or who gets annoyed at being asked, has answered the question.
Fairfield is not really a heritage-constraint suburb, so what shapes our work here is not old fabric. It is making sure the person paying understands exactly what is being done and what it costs, in writing, before it happens. That sounds obvious and it is not how a lot of plumbing gets sold.
Not on the spot. There is nothing wrong with a tradesman knocking, but nothing underground becomes an emergency in the time it takes to get a second opinion, and urgency is the standard pressure tactic. Ask for the licence number and write it down. Ask for the quote in writing. Say you will call back tomorrow, and see how they react to that, because a genuine plumber will not mind at all. If a drain really is failing, a camera inspection will show it and you will have the footage.
The whole Fairfield LGA and every suburb around it: Fairfield West, Fairfield Heights, Cabramatta, Canley Vale, Canley Heights, Smithfield, Wetherill Park, Mount Pritchard and more.
Hot water is the call we take most often, and these are the makes behind it. We will always tell you the age of your unit and whether a part will fix it, before quoting a replacement. Repairing and replacing hot water systems is most of what we do here, and we are straight about what each job costs and the age at which a unit stops being worth fixing.

We service and replace these systems as an independent licensed plumber. We are not an agent for, or endorsed by, any of these manufacturers.
Leave your details and a licensed plumber rings back, usually within a couple of minutes during business hours.
